Aylesbury Vale Local Development Framework
From 27 September 2007, planning applications are being determined against a revised policy framework, as some Aylesbury Vale District Local Plan (AVDLP) policies no longer apply. Follow this link for further details of the revised policy framework.
The current Aylesbury Vale District Local Plan was adopted in 2004, and covers the period to 2011. It sets out policies and proposals to guide future development in the district, and provides a framework against which planning applications can be assessed.
The current Local Plan now needs to be replaced. New Government planning legislation requires the District Council to replace the Local Plan with a new-style Local Development Framework (LDF) over the next few years. The new LDF will plan for the period up to 2026.
The production of the LDF will take a number of years, and we are required to follow statutory stages and procedures set by Government. There will be opportunities for public and stakeholder involvement throughout the process, and you are encouraged to get involved.
For information on the LDF programme and timetable, and details of how you can get involved, please click on one of the buttons or links above.
If you have any questions or queries on the LDF or other related issues, please contact the Plans team on (01296) 585439 or email avldf@aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk.
